What is this page about?
On this page, I’m offering you some of the best products and services that you can use for your WordPress blog or your website. I’ve personally tested each of the tools and resources here.
This page is created with the intention to help you guys out there who still have not decide on what to do with hosting, domain registration, email marketing etc. Over time this page will be continuously updated to reflect any change in any of the products or to make this page more complete for my visitors.
Now why am I give you all this?
I believe that when you want to start a business, it is important to use tools to give you an advantage and put you miles ahead of the competition. We don’t have all the time in the world to do everything. Some of you might argue that you can do things the cheap way. Yes you can choose to do that but you have to sometimes reconsider this and think of getting resources, tools or courses to help your business. Even if you have a brick and mortar business, you have to invest in something. If you ask me, it is far better to invest in these tools here online because it is so much cheaper and I won’t have to risk losing thousands of dollars in the process.

KEYWORD RESEARCH TOOLS / NICHE RESEARCH TOOLS
- Market Samurai - There are many many reasons why people are using this tool. Yes it is expensive but it is well worth the investment in the long term. There is a brief guide here on how I use it while doing my niche website research. Even if you don’t plan to build niche sites, you can always use it for doing keyword research for articles. Guys, if you are thinking twice, I don’t blame you but it is a great software. I’m not just promoting this product for no reason. Check it out here and start your using it today!
- Google Keyword Tool- Need I say more? This is one of the most used FREE keyword research tool around. If you can’t afford to own Market Samurai, go for this one. It gives you pretty accurate results. Of course you don’t have the added advantage of seeing your competition more accurately with other websites, get specific keywords that will be more profitable for your business like Market Samurai. For the average user, Google Keyword Tool will suffice.
- Wordtracker Keyword Research Labs - If I must add another alternative to the above tools, Wordtracker has a range of tools such as GTrends and Keyword Questions which are absolutely free to use as a member but to a limit of 20 (combined). Check it out. I would say that the data here is more accurate than Google Keyword Tool and very similar to Market Samurai.
- Build My Rank – Build My rank is one of those link building service that actually helps with link building. Seriously, when I started using it, I was really surprised with the results. I will highly recommend this over any other link building service. It is much better than Unique Article Wizard that you see below and I will explain it to you in detail in my Build My Rank review here.
- Unique Article Wizard - There is SeoLinkVine, MyArticleNetwork and there is also Unique Article Wizard. UAW is something you should consider as a second or maybe even third best option for building links. Check out my Unique Article Wizard Review here.
- Keyword Winner – Once upon a time, there was this massive Keyword Winner craze. I joined the craze and used it. Since then, Keyword Winner has evolved to Keyword 3.0 and more to come (I suspect)… But anyway, this tool is useful in the sense that it helps you find good keywords that are high in value (in terms of less competition but still has enough traffic and relevance to your article). You should read my Keyword Winner article here as I pick this WordPress plugin apart and see if it is definitely worth it. Well it is isn’t it, otherwise I wouldn’t use it here!
TWITTER TOOLS
- Tweet Attacks – Get this tool if you are interested to manage multiple Twitter accounts, manage direct messages and schedule tasks like tweets and tasks without you having to sit in front of the computer all day. It is highly recommended and apart from Hootsuite, Tweetdeck and Socialoomph (which are all free btw) this tool is a very valuable addition to the list of Twitter tools you must have. - Hootsuite – Hootsuite or Tweetdeck, it really doesn’t matter which one you prefer to use. My personal preference would be Hootsuite as it is easy to use. It gives me good control and a good overview of whats happening to mutliple Twitter accounts. It is true that you can’t brand yourselves unlike other Twitter services available but this has worked well enough for me to recommend to you guys.
HOSTING SERVICES
- Hostgator – I’ve used it on all of my sites and I’ve never run into any problem. Hostgator has recently given a big discount on smaller packages great for anyone starting a small business website.Check out the prices and packages included.
EMAIL MARKETING
- GetResponse – Getresponse may not be as popular as Aweber in the email marketing department but endorsements from multinational companies have elevated their status in recent times. Still in terms of features, there aren’t too many differences. In terms of pricing structure, Aweber may be better if you have a large email list. But you should not resist using it for FREE if your max subscriber list is at most 100. Alternatively, take a look at GetResponse Monthly Plans.
- Aweber – Whether or not you choose to go with Aweber or Getresponse, it doesn’t matter. Both these companies are great in delivery times. I’ve personally used both of them. You can test run Aweber for $1 a month and then revert to their monthly recurring bill base on the size of your email list. Check out the 30 day $1 monthly trial.
TOP RECOMMENDED WORDPRESS PLUGINS
- Popup Domination – This is the plugin I use that displays the popup box that comes up after hanging around my page for a while. Some of you might find it annoying, but as annoying as it sounds, it sure does help with opt ins. It does make a difference with this plugin enabled. Check out Popup Domination here.
- Ninja Affiiliate - If you are lazy and wanting desperately to have keywords becoming your money making machine, then this is the plugin for you without looking too unprofessionally done.
