120 of the Highest Quality WordPress Themes – The Ultimate List

Once again, the end of the year is approaching and there is a massive compilation of WordPress themes for the whole WordPress blogging community. You might be thinking of  a few things to improve your blog, and one of them is design. That is if you are not using any of those custom themes available from some of the big names of theme design such as*:

  • Thesis Themes
  • Elegant Themes
  • StudioPress Themes
  • Woo Themes
  • Genesis Framework
  • Flexibility Themes
  • NewWpThemes.com

There might be more out there, but those are some of the more popular ones used. If you are not using themes belonging to the list, then I shall introduce to you this year’s highest quality WordPress themes approximately 120 of them altogether.

*Just a note that some of the 120 themes listed are actually part of the designs you can find in the list up there.

So enjoy browsing through. I won’t be posting 120 themes on this blog otherwise it will just slow this whole site down! There will be a few previews and the rest can be viewed through the links below.

Some really interesting ones first

For the even bigger list of themes check the links below:

1. Smashing Magazine has a huge list of 100 there

2. Another list of 10 on Mashable

3. Another 10 More Free WordPress 3.0 Themes

If you manage to read all the way to this point and have scrolled and looked at all the themes and still feeling unhappy. Then you should really consider making your own one. I highly recommend using Thesis or the Genesis Framework. It takes most of the coding out** and you can integrate or customize your theme into any design you like.

**Don’t think you can escape completely from all the code. Mind you that Thesis has a fantastic support forum to help you with any problems and with such a huge popularity you won’t be left in the dark.

Enjoy!

This is a really great resource of information about Wordpress themes. I currently use Thesis myself and I highly recommend it too. It is very well thought out and they have incredible customer service. Thanks for also passing along the Mashable and Smashing articles.
