Home
businesses vary from doing direct sales, network
marketing, affiliate marketing, multilevel marketing. The list goes on
and on.
As long as you want to earn money from home, you can define it as a
home
business.
What
most people do not realize is that making money easily
online for your home business is a false belief propagated by veterans
in the
field of home businesses. I am absolutely sure that if you are doing
internet
marketing as part of your home business, you would have seen dozens and
dozens
of email saying that you can make thousands of dollars over night with
little
effort.
The
truth of the matter is that without persistence and hard
work, there is almost no chance of making thousands of dollars in one
day or
hundreds of thousands of dollars in one month. I can assure you the big
guns
are definitely earning big bucks because they know what they are doing!
In
fact, persistence and hard work applies to almost everything that you
do in
life. You don’t get rich over night unless you are born with a silver
spoon.
Take
for example Bill Gates, he was just an ordinary young
man when he started Microsoft. Before he started the company he was
working
from his garage. But that didn’t stop him from achieving his dreams.
The
important thing to realize is that everyone has to start somewhere.
Businesses
might fail or you might think your efforts are all a waste of time just
because
you are not making a dime. The ironic thing about success is that it
only comes
when you are about to give up. You can say that it’s a test designed to
see who
is worthy. Almost 99.9% of people will give up and the tiny remaining
portion
of it will see success and that is all from persistence or perseverance.
If
you don’t know what persistence or perseverance means,
the Oxford dictionary says this. The verb persist means “continue doing
something in spite of difficulty or opposition” while persevere means
“continue
in a course of action in spite of difficulty or lack of success”. Both
words
are synonymous with each other. I will describe a few situations when
you need
this most.
When
you are starting your home business, you will
inevitably face challenges and opposition. Your family and friends
might be
thinking that you are just wasting your time, discouraging you,
thinking that
you must be crazy spending so much time learning or doing something
they have
never done before. At some point, you eventually become the problem.
Negative
thoughts become your main obstacle. In fact, the main problem with most
people
is not the opposition you face externally but ultimately your thinking!
In
addition to be persistent you need a shift in your thinking.
As
long as you think that you cannot do it, you will not be
able to do it. It’s really that simple. We come out with excuses and
start
complaining that it does not work and we settle for that. After that we
try
something else and if we fail to make anything out of it, we start
labeling
scams to all the opportunities we tried. People who jump from one
opportunity to
another will never see things work out.
So
if you think you can make money easily from your home
business, it is definitely possible. We all have to start somewhere.
People who
have not made anything will find it impossibly difficult to make money
while
those who know how to make money from their business finds it so easy
that they
can’t stop making money. People who are in the latter category
literally don’t
have to move a finger to see money coming in.
So
to sum up, you need to work hard and persevere. There is
no magic wand to success. The secrets to successis made up of just a
few
things. Perseverance and a “successful” mindset will get you success.
Throw
away all negative thinking and adopt a positive “can do” attitude.
